Zak Designs
zak! designs have been making their customers smile since we were founded in 1976. Headquartered in the beautiful city of Spokane, Washington, this dinnerware and drinkware company is always bringing something new to the table—their diverse collection includes creative solutions and groundbreaking designs that set trends and make mealtime special for people around the world.
No one had ever put iconic characters on dinnerware before Irv Zakheim brought up the idea. Encouraged by the popularity of the Zak Zany Zoo Oven Mitts, which appeared on the set of Seinfeld, he kept exploring ways to add a little joy to everyday activities. In 1988, Zakheim worked with Disney to spotlight the Chip ’n Dale Rescue Rangers on his products, and was granted two new movies the following year. One of them was The Little Mermaid—its merchandise saw undeniable success, serving as proof of concept and solidifying zak! designs as a leader in children’s dinnerware.
Of course, kids aren’t the only ones who can use a little mealtime fun, so we’re always looking for new ways to bring joy to the whole family. Teens and adults can show off their favorite characters and make a statement with water bottles and coffee mugs, and anyone can create a beautiful tablescape with stylish dinnerware sets for everyday dining. They’ve grown beyond where they started, and they know you’ll love what they have to offer now.
zak! is a problem-solving company, with clean, simple solutions—things like vacuum insulated bottles and tumblers to keep drinks the perfect temperature during your daily commute. They’ve designed the award-winning HydraTrak line to help people with busy lifestyles stay on top of their water intake, and they’ve taken steps to lessen our environmental impact, with greener business practices and new product lines made from sustainable and biodegradable materials.
After more than 40 years of looking past traditional mealtimes, zak! designs is always on the edge of something new. Whether you’re looking for a trendy pattern, an interesting design feature, or a character from a favorite show, their collection of products has something to make everyone smile.
