i've been looking at laredo awhile because of the great classic Western style. i've got a lot of more expensive Western boots, so am kind of a collector, but i collect the more traditional 'cowpoke' style that wear well with slim bootcut jeans, and look better as they get beat up over time. the birchwood offered here is a different color combo than i got, but everything else the same. have to say that i couldn't be more pleased with them. i don't do a lot of dancing in my boots, much more walking, so rubber soles are more prized for me than leather soles. and these have some of the best. the highly affordable price makes giving in to my shopaholic Western boot addiction doable. i won't name them, but a few other well-known brands at good prices had really uncomfortable fit and wear. you will not need to worry with laredo. just got these yesterday and already thinking of trying another pair i like.
