I just got the shoes today, so I can't give any in-depth review except to say the shoes look really nice and initially the fit & feel is good walking around the house. I won't really know until taking them out for a real walk.
The bit on these shoes are metal. Another brand I read about weren't metal and broke on a few people.
The rubber sole ont he bottom have cushion support.
