I bought these for my elderly husband, who, although not diabetic, has multiple foot problems. He had been wearing sneakers instead of boots in winter weather because no boots up to this point have been comfortable. He is able to use his orthotics and has no complaints about room for his toes, which had been a recurrent problem. The boots are well made, are leather, and have excellent traction, all of which are very important.

I had such high hopes for these boots as they were highly rated. I ordered 5 wide and they were narrower than the 3 wide that I just returned. Otherwise, they looked to be decent boots.
