I usually wear a size 8 1/2 and my feet are wide. I can wear both med and wide sizing depending on the shoe. So, if you have wide feet and like this shoe please try it! I actually took a 1/2 down and the length was perfect. The width of this shoe runs wider than normal which was a good fit for me. I ordered the caramel, and the suede was rich in color as well as the patent funky heel which I really liked. Heel height should be good for being on your feet for an extended period. Sad to say I had to send them back. The area at the front edge of one (?!) of my big toes was going to be compressed after a few hours wear. So, it was not the shoe. My hope was to get another pair in a different color if they had worked. Cool shoe.

These are beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. I would say if your feet are narrow they might slide through. My feet are a little on the wide side snd they were perfect for me. I'm usually a 8.5 or 9 and the 9 fit well

I love the shoe. Due to strap it may not be the best shoe for me.
