So so gorgeous and comfortable out of the box! I normally wear a size 8.5 but I ordered a 9 because they sold out of my size before I could purchase them. There's a little more room because of this but not an uncomfortable amount and I still feel secure while wearing them despite the larger size. I definitely would not recommend sizing down for any reason, but if you need to size up by 1 you'll probably be fine
