I have 8.5 wide feet but they have someone gotten wider, so i am trying double wide shoes. I also have feet issues such as bunions and arthritis. These are really cute booties (make me think of Ugs) but they have a very thin sole/bottom which is too flexible for my arthritic toes. I need a firmer sole to keep my toes from moving. Also, even an 2x wide is not quite wide enough in this shoe, which surprised me. The shoe does have an insert with arch support, but it didn't make up for the fit and lack of firmness.
