I just had to respond to the ridiculous review below. The reviewer is not even claiming that there were holes in her shoes -- just that she expects holes will start? This is not a forum for baseless predictions of what might happen to the shoes but for customers to share their experiences with an actual pair of these shoes. I have a had two pairs of these shoes for two years, and they are amazing -- elegant, comfortable, and they go with everything. There is no sign of any type of wear and tear, and certainly no holes in the toes. The espadrille is a delicate shoe style in general, so you have to take care of them. But these shoes are a great buy, and excellent quality.

The problem with this shoe is the toe area. The fabric is flimsy, there is no support which causes significant wrinkling in the toe. And because the canvas is thin, the toes underneath are fairly evident, making the shoe look bumpy. Definitely not worth it, and certainly not at this price.

I am not one to write reviews, but wanted to share. I struggle to find cute shoes that are comfortable to wear at work as I am on my feet all day for a full 12-hours. I typically wear a narrow and have had several foot surgeries, so I was a bit hesitant. I wore the shoes straight out of the box for a lengthy workday without issue. Highly recommend to Scotchgaurd these before heading out for protection - in my book they get an A+ for looks and comfort.

I ordered these for a wedding and they felt fantastic right out of the box! I have arthritis in my knees and can no longer wear high heels or wedges. I have a pair of 3" wedges that kill my knees so I never wear them but was looking for another pair to wear in the summer with dresses. These were perfect! The sole is extremely comfortable and absorbed my steps so I didn't feel like I was walking on concrete all night even though I was. The linen was soft and comfortable and didn't rub my foot at all. The only con I have is the strap. My ankles are small so I had to tighten them quite a bit - which led to a lot of extra strap hanging out. So I just doubled it over and tucked it away so it looked nice. I plan on buying another pair in a different color soon!

Love these shoes! Ordered these at the last minute before going out of town for a wedding and didn't wear them until reaching the wedding destination. Out of the box, very comfortable. Did lots of walking around the wedding venue, dancing, etc., still comfortable. Wasn't sure which size would be best for me as a size 10 with wide, flat feet, but the 41 worked perfectly. Linen stretched a little bit but only enough to make the shoes more comfortable. Highly recommended!
